- Obey Proboards TOS at all times. Try to keep it as clean as possible. The subject matter of this site is considered mature, so swearing and lesser erotic activities may be done so long as they do not go overboard. Erotic writings will need to leave the explicit details to the imagination.
- While roleplaying, it is advised that you write in third person, unless that's a specific trait of your character.
- Be kind and respectful towards the other members here. We do not accept open flaming or trolling on extreme levels, so we'd appreciate if you get along.
- No plagiarism. Anything obtained from an outside source must be labeled as being by said artist.
- You must have your character approved before you can role play. We will always do the best we can to get to it as quickly as possible. Please be aware that every staff member has a different job, so not all of them will be approving applications. If it has been awhile since your app has been looked over, PM either the Keeper or an Arbiter.
- Cloning/ Mary Sueism. I see this a lot. Someone gets an idea from a story or such, and decides to clone a character, altering very few details about them. This is not acceptable, if you wish to use similar abilities, that's fine, just make sure the rest is original. No Ichigos, Lestats, Naruto, Satan, Lilith, or any other clone from another movie. The only individuals who may do this are the modified NPCs who will be controlled by the Chronicler and are detrimental to the site's plots. (Lucifer,Dracula,etc)
- Stay in character while roleplaying. If you somehow obtain information your character couldn't have possibly known through an OC source, then the post will be considered void.
- We do require proper grammar and spelling. If it's part of your character's personality, then it's fine. If not, then we'd ask you keep the posts legible for others.
- While a good portion of the characters are powerful, we advise you to not overdo it with their abilities, as godlike abilities without proper weaknesses will be rejected on the spot until they've been fixed. Higher rankings allow for more leanway when compared to lower levels.
- You may have as many characters as you want. We encourage creativity and though we have no limit on the characters, we advise you to develop your character through roleplaying. Our unique system allows your character to make a name for themselves and even purchase new weapons/ abilities for them.
- While we allow multiple characters, we ask that each one be on a separate account, the character's name being on the account as well a link to their profile. This allows for easy access and identification.
- Your character profile will be locked upon approval. However, any new abilities you wish to add to them will be put into a special thread for the mods to go over. Once the ability has been approved, a training thread will be initiated in order to begin to learn the ability.
- There is no limit to how many threads any character can be in simultaneously, though you must state roughly when each one takes place so we know what order they are in chronologically.
- As a site where various races and all walks of life are interacting, violence, death, and other unfavorable situations will happen. Should you not wish to risk your life, simply label the thread {No Kill}
- To the above rule, there are exceptions. For example, if your character's a Sapien, and suddenly winds up inside Singe Oras, they will obviously be bitten and turned on site, so roleplay smart. If they don't belong there to begin with, than don't put them in such a scenario.
- Grace Periods. WiPs will be kept for up to a month before being moved to Limbo. Upon asking a mod, the character will be moved back to the main registration area to continue working on them. In addition, activity checks will be posted up once a month to see whose still active. If you fail to post in the activity thread within the next two months unless on an absence, the character will be transferred to Limbo until further notice.
- Ranking Differences: Obviously, there are gonna be certain individuals who are more powerful then others, so characters must rp according to various rankings. Namely, a mere Sapien slayer cannot compete on the level of a full Empuse Elder or Blood Lord, so it would be against his favor to take one on in frontal assault. So if that be the case, the Arbiters will rule in favor of the Empuse.
- If someone is acting in a manner that is not befitting to the rules or conduct, let one of the mods know and they will resolve the situation.
